At Lyrex (by Exdreme Dev), we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you wish to permanently delete your Lyrex account and all associated personal data, song projects, and voice memo recordings, you can do so directly in the app or by submitting a web request.

METHOD 1 • IN-APP (INSTANT)

Delete Account Inside the App

The fastest way to purge your account and projects. This method executes an automated database deletion instantly without requiring email verification.

    Open the Lyrex mobile app on your iOS or Android device.

    Go to Settings (gear icon in the top header).
  • 3
    Scroll down to Account and tap Delete Account.
  • 4
    Confirm deletion. Your profile, song projects, voice recordings, and account data will be permanently erased.

If you no longer have access to the app or uninstalled it from your phone, you can submit an official deletion request via this web form or email:

DATA SCOPE

Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently erased from our active Google Firebase, Cloudinary, and Algolia databases:

User Profile Details

Email address, username, display name, authentication tokens, and profile avatar photos.

Song Lyrics & Projects

All song lyrics, verses, rhymes, chord annotations, structure notes, and project revision trees.

Voice Memo Recordings

All uploaded audio voice memos, acoustic recordings, and media containers hosted in Cloudinary.

Collaboration History

Co-writer workspace memberships, pending co-author invitations, and shared editing session tokens.

TIMEFRAMES & LEGAL STATUTORY

Data Retention Periods

Account and project data are deleted immediately upon request and completely purged from all backup archives within 30 days.

Statutory Financial & Subscription Records

In-app subscription and purchase receipts are processed directly by Google Play and Apple App Store. Exdreme Dev does not collect or hold raw credit card details. Anonymized receipt tokens are retained strictly as required by international tax, legal, and financial audit regulations.
